The mission of Oregon Spellers is to encourage, promote, and recognize spelling excellence for the youth of the State of Oregon and to provide, in conjunction with the Oregon Department of Education (ODE), Oregon Associated for Talented and Gifted (OATAG) and individual supporters and contributors, an annual state-level spelling championship.
